Oxa Wins the Trust Award in the Self-Driving Industry Awards 2024

Oxa has been named as the winner of the prestigious Trust category at this year’s Self-Driving Industry Awards. We were honoured to receive this award which recognises our commitment to safety, reliability, and transparency in the development and deployment of our technology.

The awards, presented by Cars of the Future, celebrate excellence in connected and automated mobility, both in the UK and internationally, and are judged by an independent panel of experts.

On behalf of the judging panel, Cars of the Future editor, Neil Kennett said: “We are delighted to present our 2024 Trust Award to Oxa. With a vision to build software that enables any vehicle to be self-driving, anywhere, at any time, Oxa is perhaps the only major player calling for all companies to share data, so regulators can quickly decipher any potential system issues in the event of an incident.”

Our approach to self-driving technology is rooted in the belief that an open, transparent, and explainable system is the best way to earn public trust. We can explain how our AI systems make decisions and why, and we’re working closely with regulators to ensure we can provide the data they need to assess the safety of our technology. We will continue working collaboratively to help develop industry standards for data sharing and transparency.
